It was pretty good.
We did not end up staying here. Was told we would have a breakfast, but then when I asked what time it would be she stated that all her other guest checked out and she might be able to get us coffee and juice. But when booking, she said she had a room then called and said no, but I'll upgrade you to the cottage. So where did her guest go? When we got into the cottage, the toilet leaked, no shower head, and it was cold. ( she would get us another heater, if it didn't warm up) Trash all in the back yard. I told here that we decided not to stay and mentioned the leak. She called me back and said she would upgrade us to the house if we came back....thought we already got an upgrade???? Found a great place in Jonesborough at the last minute and had a wonderful time. I would stay away from this place!
Beautiful -not to mention. Haunted. A lot of history Ms.Carter lived their n lost most family.including daughter.
.This is a beautiful bed and breakfast with a great lady who owns the home .it's a close place to stay for the Bristol nascar events, or a nice quite getaway, 5-star service excellent food
This is a unique old house with all the appropriate commodities that make up a great B&B - but it's not well kept up. I catch spider webs across my face as I walk to the front door. Moss and lichen hang from the awnings. Cobwebs adorn old Christmas greenery in May. Stray pets amble in and out of the kitchen. I step on a loose gummy bear on the dirty floor of our bathroom. By morning, the vanilla scent of the air fresheners can no longer mask the odor of old house and old people.
