This place told us to drive to a TOTALLY different location over an hour away and then refused to refund us when they made a mistake on directions! Horrible service, go some place else!

After figuring this out with the booking agent in Boone, NC, I went ahead and booked a rafting trip with my family, even though I originally wanted to go tubing. The rafting trip was pleasant, and the river guides were very friendly, accommodating, and informative. If not for the mix-up and misunderstanding of what services were offered at this location, I would have given them 5 stars.
My wife and I wanted to try white water rafting so we started out with the beginners level. There were only a few places on the river that were rough, but the scenery was beautiful. This was a good start to see if we would like it and to find out how physical it would be. If you want a lot of rapids and splashes, than the beginners level is not what you want. The guide, Jeff was very friendly and polite. Descent price, excellent equipment, very satisfied.
PAY ATTENTION!!! This place only does rafting!
