Painfully slow breakfast. Family stopped in on the way to VA and waited an hour to get served eggs and pancakes the only reason we stayed was because we had already wasted so much time that it wasn't worth going elsewhere. To top it off the order was wrong and didn't even all come out at the same time.
I had the Betsytown burger and I'm still craving it three days later. Very delicious. I snagged a bite or two of pancakes, so good.
My fiance and I stopped here for breakfast today. The food was delicious; the staff was friendly; and it was very reasonably priced. I had the stuffed french toast with bacon. Loved it!! I'm not a breakfast person typically, but I cleaned my plate! He had an omelette, grits, and fried potatoes. He enjoyed his food as well. I'm very happy to have found a place with such good food and so close to home!
The food is down home country cooking done right. Food is served quickly and to order with a very attentive wait staff. Daily supper specials and an impressively broad regular menu. Stop by and enjoy a good, quick, homestyle cooked meal!
